At the helm of the Private Equity Solutions Group, Roger leverages his deep industry knowledge to serve an elite roster of clients. This diverse group includes top-tier Private Equity, Alternative Asset Management, and Family Office firms worldwide. Operating from Moelis & Company's office in West Palm Beach, Florida, his career trajectory includes significant tenure as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley within the Global Financial Sponsors Group. There, he established a formidable advising platform for financial sponsors and their portfolio enterprises on strategic deals and investment avenues. His professional backstory also features leadership roles at SG Cowen, part of Société Générale, and as a Managing Director and Partner at Gleacher & Co., marking the inception of his illustrious career at PaineWebber Incorporated. His academic foundation is a B.A. in Economics from Amherst College.


Outside the boardroom, Hoit shines in the realm of amateur golf, boasting an impressive record on both national and international circuits. His golfing journey is highlighted by his participation in over 25 National Championships under the auspices of the USGA and the Royal & Ancient. Notably, his competitive spirit has led him to three professional "Major Championships," including two appearances at the United States Senior Open Championships in 2015 and 2019 and the 2017 British Senior Open Championship. The year 2022 saw Roger challenging competitors at the U.S. Senior Amateur at the Kittansett Club and the British Senior Amateur at Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland.


Roger Hoit's recent triumphs include representing the United States in The Bridges Cup in South Korea, where the U.S. team emerged victorious against an international cohort in this bi-annual amateur golfing showdown.
